Terren Jiatong Shi is a practising landscape architect and writer lives and works on Naarm, the unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people.
Terren is interested in understanding the ways in which landscape architecture and urban design have been shaped by social and political contexts – and how they can be used to address contemporary social and environmental challenges. Terren hopes to use practice to visiblise and celebrate the diverse experiences and lesser-known
stories within the field of landscape architecture.
Terren was selected to M_Curator program 2023 by MPavilion, a public programming project for young art and design professionals to curate events at MPavilion.
Terren currently works at a small landscape architecture studio and as a sessional tutor at the University of Melbourne.
